Embraco presents its complete portfolio for the Russian market at Climate World

Embraco
Climate World Moscow

The solutions offer the main drivers for the refrigeration market: energy efficiency, low noise, competitiveness and quality in food preservation

Moscow/Russia, March 2020 – From March 10th to 13th, Embraco, a global brand reference in technology for the complete domestic and commercial cold chain, will be at the 16th edition of Climate World trade show, in Moscow, the largest Russian exhibition in the field of HVAC&R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration). The brand, now part of Nidec Global Appliance, will present its complete portfolio of solutions for the Russian market, from food retail and food service applications to household and replacement demands. A complete range of solutions focused on the drivers of energy efficiency, low noise, sustainability, competitiveness and quality in food preservation.

Among the highlights are the solutions running on natural refrigerants. Embraco has been a pioneer in its use for commercial and household applications for the past 25 years, as an alternative to reduce the negative effects on the ozone layer, greenhouse effects and to improve the equipment’s energy efficiency. Through Embraco portfolio, Nidec Global Appliance is dedicated to introducing this technological and environmental trend in the Russian refrigeration market.

FOOD SERVICE AND FOOD RETAIL

For food service, Embraco’s booth (CV105) will bring a complete natural refrigerant line-up, for applications used in establishments such as restaurants, bakeries, hotels and coffee shops. Visitors will be able to meet the families of compressors NJX, EMX and FMF, all running on natural refrigerant R290 (propane). These solutions are ideal for refrigeration applications such as reach-ins, ice makers, refrigerated islands, ice cream makers, upright cabinets, milk coolers and others.

For food retail, the layout flexibility needed in convenience stores and supermarkets is going to be addressed by Plug n’ Cool, a self-contained solution that uses R290. At the trade show, the system is going to be represented in a model (maquete) in order to show all the possibilities in layout this system can provide while also reducing up to 30% the energy consumption and making the installation process 70% faster.

A special place of the booth is reserved for another one of Embraco’s recent innovations: the silent unit BIOMA, a condensing unit made for cold rooms and external applications, such as gas stations, convenience stores and others, with an innovative design that reduces noise in up to 50%. It also brings advantages in access to components, featuring three access doors designed with a single key opening in 1/4 turn lock. Added to that there is the stackable layout, bringing the possibility of capacity expansion, optimizing store space.

AFTERMARKET AND DISTRIBUTION

At Climate World, Embraco will also reinforce its solutions for replacement in household applications, with the Essential line up, and in higher capacity ranges, from 2HP to 13HP, with its Scroll compressors.

MEET THE SOLUTIONS (compressors and condensing units)

FOOD SERVICE

NJX: Is the first 2HP single piston compressor, bringing advantages such as reduced size, low weight and noise reduction. Compared to a 2-cylinder option, NJX presents 50% reduction in weight and 20% in height. Available with natural refrigerant R290 and transitory refrigerant options, NJX is indicated for a number of commercial refrigeration applications such as milk coolers, cold rooms, refrigerated islands, upright cabinets, reach-ins and ice cream makers.

EMX: Is one of the most efficient single-speed compressors in the world. It features a smaller platform, with an extended cooling capacity that can replace larger compressors, releasing more internal space for beverage coolers, vending machines, under-counters and reach-ins, as well as domestic refrigerators.

FMF: With variable speed, it is the most efficient compressor for the commercial segment in the market, ideal for applications requiring high temperature stability, reliability and low noise. It is bivolt, operating at rated voltages of 110V and 220V, and works in a wide range of rotations. The variable speed technology keeps the temperature stable and modulates the capacity, according to the application demand. In addition, it operates with R290 natural refrigerant, which is environmentally friendly and adds energy efficiency gains.

FOOD RETAIL

Plug n’ Cool: It’s a complete self-contained solution designed for reach-in applications in food retail, which reduces the store’s energy consumption with refrigeration by more than 30%. The hallmark of this particular cooling solution is that it provides a “plug and play” feature that accelerates the installation process by 70%, and can replace the traditional machine room, avoiding refrigerant leakage and saving space in the cabinet and store.

BIOMA: A condensing unit for cold rooms with new silent features, attending environment requirements, innovative design and easy maintenance. It was designed for outdoor applications, such as gas stations, restaurants, fast food (food service) and convenience stores (food retail). It’s available in medium temperatures and low temperature applications, appropriate for the latest refrigerants with low GWP solutions (R449A, R452A, R513A). With its stackable design, the unit stands out for accessibility, serviceability and compactness.
